Now that the school year has started I thought it would be fun to share what is in my teacher bag in case you need inspiration for packing your own! Teachers are always on the go, so keeping my bag stocked is super important!

Here's what's inside!

The Lowdown on Potty Training

August 25, 2016

If there's anything I've learned from potty training the last two week (yes, it took us longer than 3 days and that's ok) it's that there are a million opinions out there on the right way to do it. What happened when I started taking care of ME.

August 22, 2016

Near the end of my pregnancy with my now 2 year old my doctor made an off handed comment to me along the lines that I'd done such a great job keeping my pregnancy weight gain in check that by my 8 week checkup I would not only be back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but that I'd actually weight less than I did before.

I know what you're thinking. "He was just trying to make her feel good about her pregnant body, I can't believe she believed him."

From the minute Jacob wakes up in the morning, he has one thing on his mind: breakfast. For a while the ONLY thing he would eat was waffles. He'd wake us up every single morning and the first thing out of his mouth would be "waffles." His tastes are a little more varied now and we can get in things like bacon and eggs, but he still loves waffles most of all.

Now that school is back in session our lives are busier than ever. I'm back at work, Jacob is back at daycare, plus we've added swim lessons into the mix on the weekends! Life could not be crazier, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Are your kids starting school soon? What if I told you there was a way you could help out their classroom, teacher, and school before they even head back to class?

Kids Travel Guide: Sanibel Island

August 5, 2016

This past weekend we made the three hour drive from the east coast of Florida to the west as a last hurrah before I return to work. This is an annual tradition of ours - in the past we've gone to Ft. LauderdaleMichigan, Miami, and  Cape Canaveral

Island Style with Pink Blush

August 3, 2016

Shortly before our trip to Sanibel I was put in touch with Pink Blush, who offered to send me something to wear on our trip. I was super excited to get something new for our beach trip, and got to work right away picking something out. Turns out that's no easy task as their website is FULL of cute clothes. I knew I wanted a dress, and I knew I wanted something versatile.
