Week 22

February 18, 2014

Wow, what a week we had! We celebrated my 30th Birthday, Valentine's, and made our first trip to the beach since I got pregnant (long overdue!).

For my birthday Dan got me a beautiful pandora bracelet with a dolphin charm representing our wedding/honeymoon (where we swam with dolphins) and a baby boy teddy bear charm to represent little man. We ordered in some Outback because I was too tired after school to go out to eat!

On Valentine's Day my class had a big party at school so I took it easy that night while Dan worked and enjoyed the yummy chocolate covered strawberries he brought home for me!

We were super lucky this week to be able to replace my car that got totaled a few weeks back. Thanks to the President's Day sale I was able to get a brand new Rogue for the same monthly payments I was paying on my used one! We've already noticed that the new models have a little more room in back, so it will be easier with the car seat :)

And, thanks to President's Day we both had Monday off so we made a beach trip! We only stayed for about two hours since it was pretty hot, but the water felt wonderful and it was so nice to get back to the beach. Little man seemed to like it too, he was kicking around while we were there. And he was DEFINITELY kicking when we stopped for ice cream after ;)

Week 21

February 12, 2014
We met with the perinatologist again this week for a checkup. They spent a lot of time looking at little guys heart. It was very cool to see the blood pumping through the four chambers, but as usual he wouldn't hold still for them to get all the pictures and videos they needed, so we'll have to get a fetal echocardiogram at some point. We got the crib put together this week too, with minimal cursing involved!
