Our little guy turned 1 month old this week!
We went back to the hospital where you were born this week for their breastfeeding support group. It was so nice to be around other mommies and babies! We found out you eat about 3 oz. in 15 minutes! No wonder you are growing so big!
The car ride to the hospital put you to sleep of course
But once you got to eat you were wide awake and showing off!
We also made a trip out to the outlet mall with Mimi this week. It was a rush to get ready in the morning, but luckily once you were changed, fed, and all ready you fell asleep and let Mommy get ready.
It was really nice to get out of the house and get some exercise walking around. The weather was really hot, but we got some frozen lemonades (milk for you) to cool down.
As usual you slept almost the whole five hours we were out, right through all our shopping, and our lunch. You woke up just a little before we left but after eating and getting your diaper changed you passed right back out on the way home!
Your little personality is really starting to show, and you still make the best faces :)
You still are waking up every few hours to eat, but we did get a 4 hour stretch of sleep one night this week :)
Daddy had a few days off, and we had some fun! We went to Gumbo Limbo Nature Park on Saturday. You slept the whole time of course! We saw crabs, sea turtles, sharks, fish, sting rays and a tortoise!
Then we went to Rocco's Tacos for dinner - your first restaurant! Mommy got to have her first drink in ten months - a strawberry margarita. You slept until the food came, then right on cue you woke up and started to fuss. Daddy fed you while Mommy ate, and then Daddy ate while Mommy burped and changed you. After dinner we got a little ice cream for the trip home. On the way back home you fell right back asleep.
The next day was rainy so we went to the mall where it is dry and cool. We picked up a few things for you, got in lots of exercise walking, and even found some fair food!
We are officially done with newborn diapers and clothes. Mommy was so sad to pack away your newborn clothes, but it was fun to get out your 0-3 and 3 month ones!
