Not much happened week 18, which is why it's missing. Unfortunately, week 19 seems to be making up for the lack of activity, and not in a good way. Wednesday morning we lost baby's great-aunt Karla. She was such a warm, loving woman who will be very much missed. Later that afternoon baby and I were in a head on car collision after someone swerved into our lane. We went by ambulance to the ER where they checked out baby and found him to be just fine in there. His heartrate was normal at 146 bpm, and he was practicing chewing, moving his mouth up and down. I had never been in an ambulance before and it was so, so, scary worrying about whether or not he was ok in there. Unfortunately, mommy is not quite as unscathed as baby. I've got severe bruising on my stomach from the airbag, and my hips from the seat belt, as well as my collarbone, hands, and shins. Praying for a speedy recovery since Tylenol isn't doing much :(
The whole week wasn't bad though, Linda started to paint the nursery, and we got to celebrate at Kat's Bridal shower :)
