Today you greeted the day with a smile and a laugh the way you always do.

Today you love pancakes, and banana, and sausage, and anything else you can get your hands on.

You giggle and growl in your sleep when you are dreaming, and change sleeping positions 1,000 times a night.

Today you hate naps, stickers, getting out of the bath and ice cream.

Today you bring a smile and a "look at those eyes"! out of everyone you meet.

Today you love cuddles with your blankie, watching mickey on TV, and riding in your car.

Today you can say mama, dada, num num, (Mic)"key"and no-no.

Today you can crawl like lightning, pull yourself up, play peekaboo, wave, play "so big", roll a ball, walk with your walker and give hugs and kisses.

Today you think sneezing is hilarious and nothing calms you down like "shake it off"

Today we love you more than we ever knew we could.

Today you are ONE.

Tuesdays with Jacob: 51 Weeks

This was our busiest week yet! Momma's last week of school and the start of summer meant we had to move Momma's whole classroom home and finish up birthday preparations! 

Moving a whole classroom is no joke! It took us all week with lots of help from Daddy and Pop pop. You had fun getting into mischief while we tried to pack and move stuff!

We're on to new adventures! 

Grandma and Papa flew in on Friday night and we got everything ready for your party. 

Sunday morning you woke up ready to party! 

On Sunday we celebrated your birthday a tad bit early with our friends and family in Florida. We'll do a separate post of all those fun pictures! 

You are ALMOST one and we can hardly believe it!!

Jacob Parties with Mickey

On Sunday, June 7th we celebrated your 1st Birthday a few days early here in Florida. 

Mommy and Grandma worked so hard on decorating with your favorite Mickey Mouse. 

All your friends came to celebrate with you! 

There were fun games - ring toss, pin the bow on minnie, bowling, bean bag toss, and a pinata!

 Daddy grilled hot diggity dogs and there was also toodle's noodles and other num-nums

Of course there was cake!! You actually liked it this time and dug right in!

You loved all your new presents

What a fun day it was!
