Week 21 | Tuesdays with Jacob

Week 21

February 12, 2014
We met with the perinatologist again this week for a checkup. They spent a lot of time looking at little guys heart. It was very cool to see the blood pumping through the four chambers, but as usual he wouldn't hold still for them to get all the pictures and videos they needed, so we'll have to get a fetal echocardiogram at some point. We got the crib put together this week too, with minimal cursing involved!

How far along: 21 Weeks
Gender: Boy
Maternity clothes: I'm wearing a mix of maternity and non-maternity these days
Stretch marks: No
Belly button in or out:In
Sleep: Goodwhen I'm not being woken up by a squirming dog or husband.
Best moment this week: Getting the crib set up!
Worst moment this week: Can't think of one :)
Miss anything: Greek salad! It's not the same without the feta cheese
Movement: movement is getting a lot stronger, and is sometimes detectable from the outside
Cravings: Sour Patch Kids, Valentine Donuts, sweets
Queasy or sick: Feeling good!
Looking forward to: Working on the nursery some more

Little profile :)
both eyes are actually closed here, the light sonogram waves are just showing up strange. Look at his little nose and lips!
I have been literally DREAMING about these donuts!
Sunday afternoon project
I was told to title this picture "Dear Jacob, Daddy hates putting sh*t together."
